GPs are able to recommend trusted health and wellbeing apps on the NHS Apps Library to their patients. The NHS Apps Library currently has more than 70 apps covering a wide range of health and wellbeing specialisms and physical activity monitors and has now had more than a million visits. Mental health apps have so far proved to be the most popular followed by pregnancy and baby apps, with sleep, diabetes and healthy living making up the remaining top five categories.

Practice Survey Reporting

In 2011 we set up a virtual patient group to complement our face-to-face patient panel, and ran an online survey. Since then we have increased the numbers on our virtual group.

We ran our fourth online survey in spring of 2015, with respondents mainly from the virtual patient group and the patient panel, and as a result of the responses we have drawn up some actions in discussion with both groups. You can find this plan here.
