GPs are able to recommend trusted health and wellbeing apps on the NHS Apps Library to their patients. The NHS Apps Library currently has more than 70 apps covering a wide range of health and wellbeing specialisms and physical activity monitors and has now had more than a million visits. Mental health apps have so far proved to be the most popular followed by pregnancy and baby apps, with sleep, diabetes and healthy living making up the remaining top five categories.

All consultations are by appointment. You may make an appointment on the telephone, in person or on the website through EMIS access. There are appointments available to book in advance and on the same day. Normal appointments are 15 minutes long.
Our aim is to run all surgeries to time but delays can occur. We will inform you if the doctor or nurse you are seeing is running late. Please help us by arriving in good time for your appointment so that the patients after you are not kept waiting.
Please cancel any appointments you no longer need even if this is at short notice. Another patient may benefit from the release of that appointment.
If you feel you need to be seen on the same day you will be offered an appointment or the opportunity to discuss your problem on the phone with the duty doctor.
Texts will be sent when you book an appointment and 2 days before your appointment. Please be aware that if you cancel or change your appointment you may still receive text reminders for the original appointment which you should ignore.
It is vital that we have your correct number on our records – if you need to update your mobile phone number please let us know at the surgery.
Booking GP appointments online - these can be booked online via EMIS Patient Access.
Booking nurse appointments online - blood tests with our Health Care Assistants, Maria Hoare and Lauren Evans can be booked online. All other nurse appointments can be made by phoning the surgery on 01491 838286.

Townlands Hospital, Henley (7 days a week 9am – 8pm)
We are happy to visit people at home if they are housebound or unable to come to the surgery because they are too unwell.
Please telephone the surgery before 11.00am if you require a home visit.
Doctors are happy to discuss any problem on the telephone.
Please ring before 11.00am to book a telephone consultation for the same day. You will usually be called back after morning surgery between 11.30am and 12pm.
We are part of the Extended Hours Scheme and means we are open for a short period on most Saturday morning. Appointments are available between 8.30am and 10.30am, for ROUTINE PRE-BOOKABLE ONLY appointments. Please be aware these surgeries do not run on Bank Holiday weekends, as we are closed during this time or when we are running the GP Access Fund Scheme.
As part of the Government’s pledge to provide a 7 day NHS they have rolled out a scheme to provide additional access to patients during evenings and at weekends. The GP practices across South East Oxfordshire will be working as a collective to provide the recommended number of these additional routine, pre-bookable appointments each week.
PLEASE NOTE : These appointments are aimed at routine GP care and do NOT replace the current urgent 111 service. If you require an urgent GP appointment when your surgery is closed then you still need to call 111. This GP Access service is NOT for emergencies or walk-in appointments and you will be directed to call NHS 111 in these cases.
Each surgery will be providing services at different times and on different days; however you will be able to book into an available slot at ANY of the participating surgeries. If you consent then the clinician who sees you will have access to your private medical record. Please note that if you feel an onward referral to a specialist or any further investigations may be required, then it may be better to arrange an appointment with your own doctor; however, this is not essential.
Due to the nature of these appointments we would ask that patients try and limit their queries to one problem only.
