Electronic records and online services

Electronic records and online access

As you will see on our home page, we offer online appointment booking, and online ordering of repeat prescriptions, as well as a facility allowing you to view your entire medical record online.

Patients wanting online access to their medical records should ask at reception, who will be ask them to fill out a form and provide photographic id such as your passport or driving license. Patients will then be contacted by the surgery once the registration is complete.

We ask that patients are aware that their access is at the discretion of their doctor, and we retain the right to refuse access completely if we have any concerns that access would cause harm to a patient or to limit the amount of access available.

Parents wanting access to their childs medical record will need to speak to reception to discuss the application first. For confidentiality reasons, our clinical software automatically removes online access for children once they have reached 12 years old. Children 16 or above, and any adult wishing to give a family member access to their medical records online will need to see a doctor first and give us written evidence that they wish this to occur.
